Dr. Yolette Celoge received her medical degree from the University of Haiti, School of Medicine, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 1987. She completed her Internship at Buen Samaritano Hospital in Aguadilla, Puerto-Rico. Having worked in an underserved area in Haiti caring for and educating the community, she developed a special bond with her Haitian patients.
She received an award for volunteering at a free clinic in Miami for her dedication to providing care for the uninsured.She also worked for the Palm Beach County Health Department that provided similar services.
Dr. Celoge’s interest is in preventive medicine, public health and clinical practice to help patients understand their diseases and take better control of their health.
In 2010, she was the recipient of the Superior Service Award from the Miami-Dade County Health Department for her contribution to the health and well-being of Miami-Dade County residents.
Dr. Celoge enjoys reading, listening to music, going for long walks, jogging and spending time with her family. She also enjoys gardening with her husband and daughter. Besides English, she also speaks French, Haitian Creole and Spanish.
