Women, Infant & Children

WIC is a federally funded nutrition program for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding or who have recently been pregnant. This program helps by improving the health of nutritionally at-risk, low income women, infants and children under the age of five.

Nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, healthcare referrals and community program information are all provided.

All WIC services are free of charge at two CHI locations. Call for an appointment at the Doris Ison Health Center (305) 252-4459 or the Naranja Health Center (305) 257-0720.
