Community Health of South Florida, Inc. (CHI) is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to high quality care. To make sure that mission is fulfilled, CHI offers telehealth services for behavioral health treatment for adults and children at its Marathon Health Center.
Patients can see a compassionate, experienced psychiatrist or therapist virtually from the Marathon Health Center. With a focus on comprehensive care, patients can also get their low-cost medications from the Marathon Health Center pharmacy and also see a number of other providers there including: primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYN and dental.
CHI is also working to make sure children with mental health issues are identified and treated early. That’s why CHI is offering telehealth behavioral health services at four Miami Dade Public Schools: R.R. Moton Elementary, Cutler Bay Middle, COPE South and Homestead Senior High. Students can be evaluated while at school remotely by a children’s psychiatrist or therapist. Additionally, the technology will allow CHI’s nutritionists to provide nutritional services in conjunction with the school nurse.
